What’s the difference between the Fall Festival and the Run for Justice?

The Run for Justice is one of the Fall Festival events—so join us for one or both! The Fall Festival and walk/run are family-friendly.

The Fall Festival will include food, live music by Karate Show (with our very own Attorney Michael Molloy on drums), face painting, a Kids Dash, and lawn games.

The Run for Justice is a 2.6-mile walk/run “mini-thon” (1/10 of a marathon) along the Charles River. It’s a beautiful route!

Participants can make a donation toward civil legal aid (through the Massachusetts Bar Foundation) and innocence project work (through the New England Innocence Project) in the Commonwealth. Donations are optional.

You can register to participate as an individual or create a team with members of your firm, company, school, or nonprofit organization.

Do I need to register for both the MBA Fall Festival and the Run for Justice?

If you’d like to participate in both the MBA Fall Festival and the Run for Justice, we ask that you let us know by registering for each separately.

Can I race the course?

Yes! Racing the course is optional. Please check in before 12:30 p.m. if you want to race the course for time or to make it interesting with your colleagues. The race will begin at 12:30 p.m.

We will be awarding the race winner a gift card.

Otherwise, check in and run/walk the course at your leisure.

Can I bring my family?

Yes, please do! The MBA Fall Festival and Run for Justice are family-friendly and substance-free! We’ll have food and activities like:

  • A Kids Dash;

  • Lawn Games;

  • Face painting and temporary tattoos;

  • Live music; and,

  • Naco Taco food truck.

Is there parking?

Yes! There is plenty of free on-site parking. The main lot is located at Herter Park, 1175 Soldiers Field Road, Boston, MA 02134.

If the main parking lot is full, loop around and you’ll find additional smaller parking lots just before the main lot.

Is Herter Park wheelchair accessible?

Yes! Herter Park is wheelchair accessible.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes, dogs are allowed on leash.

What happens if there’s bad weather? Is there a rain date?

This event is weather contingent. There is no rain date.

In the event of a cancellation, participants will be notified ahead of time via email (please be sure to register) and an update on the event’s website.

In the interest of supporting our chosen organizations, all donations and sponsorships are non-refundable.
